‘I think, therefore I am’ is a phrase attributed to Reneé Descartes. I have forever marveled at the complexity of the human brain and what it is capable of - think of a chalk board filled with complex mathematical formulas. As an artist, I am tuned in to working both logically and analytically when I need to work out the elements of a design, and intuitively, when I am not aware of thinking at all. This state of ‘flow’ when completely in the creative process is quite wonderful, and I feel very lucky to spend so much of my life in this place. NEXT IN SERIES
