MOSAIC HOUSE NUMBER SIGNS
#15, Fisher house mosaic!
Mosaic house number signs are some of the smallest commissions I undertake. I enjoy making them as they are such a switch from my larger scale work. They are a great project for people first exploring the mosaic medium.
In this image to the left, please note the way the mosaic is attached. These plastic hooks, available at your local hardware store, are an easy way to hang a mosaic on a tree or the side of a house.
PRICING INFORMATION: Small mosaic house number signs are quite labor intensive. I sketch the number and background design and get approval before continuing on any commission. Once colors, size and design are finalized I assemble the mosaic. Next I attach it to the panel with thin-set mortar, clean the mosaic and grout it. I then need to ensure the edges are protected and add a hanging method if desired. Prices are dependent on complexity of the design and # of numbers and start at $225.
