Every Guatemala trip just seems to get better and better. Since I posted the mosaics we created in 2025 on the BIG BANG MOSAIC home page, here are some more images of some of the people that make everything so special, the local residents of San Lucas Toliman. For me, the highlight of 2025 was meeting Heber Amilcar Pérez Morales who introduced himself to me as 'Prof Ever'. He is passionate about sharing his Mayan heritage and educating visitors on contemporary life for members of his community. I believe he will significantly enrich our experience in years to come. I especially value his appreciation of the murals and look forward to working with him to create more involvement by local residents.

We had the pleasure of meeting the young lady who is portrayed in the Quinceañiera mosaic. She and her mom are honored for capturing her in this special moment of her life.
