BEFORE WEALTH

For our first 290,000 years as Homo Sapiens we were nomads, an existence that precludes ownership of much ‘stuff’ living materially poorer but much more equal lives.  Each mirror square represents a member of a band or tribal group (numbering anywhere from 10 - 50 or so individuals) where everyone was = to everyone else with regard to wealth or lack thereof.  The backdrop in this mosaic portrays a variety of landscapes on our beautiful planet, each and every one habitable by humankind.
