This is a collaborative piece of furniture I did with Michael Hauck of Millbury, MA. MichaelHauckdesigns.com The mosaic features grape vines and male and female Common Yellowthroat warblers. The case (upper portion) is constructed of Honduras Mahogany, with a hand-rubbed oil finish and waxed. The base is constructed of ebonized quarter-sawn white oak with a hand-rubbed varnish and waxed. The mosaics are on sliding doors that have storage areas on the right and left sections, and 3 drawers in the center section.
