Mosaic school project, Conway, MA

Conway Mosaic Project, June, 2003

The Conway project had a remarkably similar set up to that conducted at Sanderson Academy. There were 35 12"X12"spaces inset into the walls of the hallways. Everyone in the school did a drawing to the theme of local wildlife and plant life. Shown above are 10 mosaics representing preschool through grade 6. The students did a fabulous job with the drawings and assembling of the mosaics. The squirrel, bottom left, was a last minute rush job as 1 extra 12"X12" space was belatedly discovered. Special thanks to the fifth grade class for taking this on!
